Privacy at asap.deals

The public site serves Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights scripts to measure page use and web performance. asap.deals does not intentionally set a browser cookie or write to local or session storage on its public landing and intake pages. Vercel may process request, device, network, page-view, and performance information as the hosting and measurement provider.

When someone submits the intake form, asap.deals receives the selected side, name, email, what the person is looking for, and any optional company, firm, deal-size, or link information they provide. The application also records the referrer, landing path, selected campaign parameters, browser language, screen size, IP address, user agent, submission time, and rate-limit backend.

asap.deals uses submitted information to review a raise or mandate, assess whether a relevant introduction may exist, contact the submitter, facilitate an introduction when appropriate, prevent spam, enforce rate limits, diagnose errors, and operate the desk. The project does not sell submissions or turn them into a public directory.

Vercel hosts and measures the website, and Neon stores accepted form submissions in Postgres. The application also supports optional Resend email delivery and optional Upstash Redis rate limiting; those providers receive the data needed for their function only when their integrations are configured. The current public intake has no payment processor, sign-in flow, or account connection.

If the desk believes a relevant introduction exists, information from a submission may be shared with a prospective counterparty as needed to explore that introduction. Submitters should provide only material they are comfortable having used for that purpose. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or needed to protect the site, its users, or others.

The application does not apply an automatic deletion period to saved submissions. The desk retains records while they remain useful for reviewing and operating the introduction workflow. No internet system can promise absolute security. To request access, correction, or deletion of submitted information, contact the desk from the email address associated with the submission.
